CDW Sponsors Fund Raising Event for the Greater Chicago Food Depository CDW is sponsoring the Greater Chicago Food Depository's 12th annual Bag Hunger Auction on Thursday, September 29, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. At the event, more than 25 of Chicago's celebrity chefs will present tastings of their cuisine and offer advice, recipes, and demonstrations of their technique and style. A silent and live auction will also be held during the night to raise money for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The Greater Chicago Food Depository is Chicago's food bank, a not-for-profit distribution center providing food to hungry people while striving to end hunger in the community. The Food Depository is committed to efficiently distributing donated and purchased food through its network of 600 qualified agencies, such as soup kitchens, shelters and pantries. Since its incorporation in 1978, the Food Depository has remained steadfast to this mission.
