CDW's Average Daily Sales Increase 31 Percent in February 2004

VERNON HILLS, Ill. - March 10, 2004 - CDW Corporation (Nasdaq: CDWC), a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, today announced average daily sales for February 2004 were $20.9 million, an increase of 31.0 percent, versus average daily sales of $15.9 million for February 2003. Total sales for the month were $417.1 million compared with sales of $318.3 million for February 2003. Both months had 20 billing days.

Corporate and public sector segments both generated strong double-digit growth in February 2004. In addition, double-digit unit volume growth was achieved in most product categories. Notebook CPUs, notebook accessories, desktop CPUs, server CPUs, data storage and printer accessories unit volumes increased more than 30 percent for the month on a year-over-year basis.

The Company plans to announce March 2004 sales when it reports first quarter 2004 earnings in April 2004.
