CDW Earns Cisco Premier Certification. Customers Benefit from Expanded Access to Expertise and Resources

VERNON HILLS, Ill. - April 6, 2004 - CDW Corporation (Nasdaq: CDWC),a FORTUNE 500 provider of technology products and services today announced the company has achieved Cisco Systems, Inc. Premier Certification. This designation means CDW has met Cisco's strict criteria for technical expertise, customer satisfaction and other metrics that enable CDW to provide customers with the right technologies for their specific needs.

CDW will now have expanded access to Cisco customer satisfaction tools and technical resources. As part of the certification, CDW has also achieved a wireless local area network (WLAN) specialization. This specialization recognizes CDW's ability to plan, design, implement and operate Cisco WLAN solutions.

Achieving this certification is part of CDW's ongoing mission to offer customers expert advice in choosing and purchasing the right technology for their specific needs. CDW has technology specialty teams in nine different areas including networking, wireless, security and storage.
