
CDW's Average Sales Increase 10.2 Percent in April 2005
VERNON HILLS, Ill. – May 10, 2005 - CDW Corporation (NASDAQ: CDWC), a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, today announced average daily sales for April 2005 were $22.834 million, an increase of 10.2 percent compared to average daily sales of $20.717 million for April 2004. Total sales for April 2005 were $479.5 million based on 21 billing days compared to total sales for April 2004 of $455.8 million based on 22 billing days.
The corporate and public sector segments both grew in April 2005. Product categories that achieved year-over-year double digit unit volume growth for the month on an average daily basis included notebook CPUs, desktop CPUs, server CPUs, data storage, software, and video.
The Company plans to announce May 2005 sales on Thursday, June 9, 2005. May 2004 had 20 billing days and May 2005 will have 21 billing days.
