CDW Names Ann E. Ziegler Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

VERNON HILLS, Ill. - May 29, 2008 - CDW Corporation, a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, announced today that Ann E. Ziegler has joined the company as senior vice president and chief financial officer. She reports to John A. Edwardson, chairman and chief executive officer of CDW and serves on the company's Executive Committee

"Ann is certainly an accomplished financial executive, but she will be bringing more than fiscal leadership to our company," Edwardson said. "She has an impressive track record of helping organizations operate efficiently, which has long been a focus of our company. I look forward to the contributions Ann will be making to our business."

Ziegler comes to CDW from Sara Lee Corporation's Food and Beverage Group, where she served as senior vice president, administration and chief financial officer for the $4.7 billion business unit. Over the past three years, Ziegler helped lead significant double digit improvements in the operating profit and cash flow of the Food and Beverage business, lead the consolidation of Sara Lee's North American Shared Services operations and lead the turnaround and sale of the company's Mexican operations. Previously, Ziegler served as chief financial officer of Sara Lee's $3.5 billion Bakery Group and prior to that position, as senior vice president corporate development, Ziegler led Sara Lee's worldwide portfolio strategy and mergers and acquisitions. She began her tenure at Sara Lee in 1993 as corporate counsel in the company's legal department. Before working at Sara Lee, Ziegler was an attorney in the Chicago office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

Ziegler earned a B.A in economics and government from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. and a J.D. from University of Chicago Law School. She serves on the board of directors of Unitrin, Inc. and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
