Primo Joins CDW As Chief Marketing Officer

VERNON HILLS, Ill. - June 4, 2003 - CDW (Nasdaq: CDWC), today announced Diane Primo joined the company on Monday, June 2, 2003 as chief marketing officer and a member of the executive committee. She reports to chairman and CEO John Edwardson.

Primo's experience spans more than 25 years of marketing with some of the Chicago area's leading companies. She has served as president of product marketing for SBC/Ameritech and business director, general manager and brand manager for brands of Quaker Oats.

"Diane is a highly respected and dynamic marketer," Edwardson said. "She brings a wealth of experience to CDW. We are excited to have her on board and expect she will be instrumental in helping CDW grow market share."

In this position, Primo is responsible for the strategy and development of CDW's advertising, product marketing, marketing intelligence and research, catalogs and collateral materials, creative services, relationship marketing, and corporate communications.

Primo earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Smith College. She sits on the boards of the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Foundation for Independent & Higher Education and is an active member of the Chicago Network.
