May 2003 had 21 billing days and total sales of $353.8 million, while May 2002 had 22 billing days and total sales of $365.8 million. "Our public sector business showed strong double-digit growth compared to May of last year, while the market remains slow in the corporate sector," commented John A. Edwardson, CDW's chairman and chief executive officer. "Overall, we were pleased to see a sequential increase of 6.5 percent in average daily sales this month versus April 2003."
