CDW Revs Up Its First-Ever Race Car Sponsorship

TORONTO - July 7, 2005 - CDW Corporation (NASDAQ: CDWC), a leading provider of name-brand technology products and services to business, government and education, today announced it will be hitting the streets of Toronto and Edmonton, Canada with its first-ever professional race car sponsorship. The #9 Ford-Cosworth/Lola Champ Car of British driver Justin Wilson will proudly carry the red and white CDW logo at two stops of the Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford. The car debuts at the 20th anniversary Molson Indy Toronto this weekend.

"This is an exciting opportunity for CDW Canada to participate at the top level in an event that has become a summertime institution in Canada." said Jon Stevens, general manager of CDW Canada and CIO of CDW Corporation. "We're working hard to grow our business in Canada, and this sponsorship will help us build brand awareness. The speed, performance and efficiency that auto racing delivers are perfect parallels to the professionalism and urgency we bring to meeting our customers' needs on a daily basis."

For this sponsorship, CDW, based Vernon Hills, Ill, is partnering with the RuSPORT racing team, which is entering its second season of competition with a two-car team in the Champ Car World Series. Drivers A.J. Allmendinger, Reigning Roshfrans Rookie of the Year, and Justin Wilson currently rank 3rd and 4th in the Drivers Championship, respectively. RuSPORT has already collected two podiums and 9 top-ten finishes for the 2005 season.

"RuSPORT is very pleased to be partnering with CDW at the Toronto and Edmonton Champ Car events," added team president Jeremy Dale. "What better way to celebrate the long history of a great Canadian event and the growing emergence of a great company in the Canadian marketplace than with the 20th anniversary of the Molson Indy Toronto."

The #9 CDW/RuSPORT car will first take to the streets of Toronto in Friday's Champ Car practice and then for provisional qualifying at 2:00 PM (ET). Final qualifying will begin on Saturday, July 9 at 1:45 PM. The green flag will drop on Sunday, July 10 at 1:00 PM for the 20th anniversary running of the Molson Indy Toronto and can be seen live on the CBS network in the U.S. and on the Global network in Canada. The car will again participate in the Grand Prix of Edmonton from July 15 through July 17.
