CDW Promotes Schuldt To Vice President

VERNON HILLS, Ill. - August 28, 2003 - CDW Corporation, (Nasdaq: CDWC), a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government and education, today announced Steve Schuldt, 33, has been promoted to vice president - corporate sales.

In his new role, Schuldt is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the sales efforts for medium- and large-sized businesses along with the sales specialty teams that offer customer pre-sales consulting support in such areas as software, networking and storage.

Schuldt joined CDW in 1993 and has served the company in several sales leadership positions, most recently as executive director - sales. As a key leader in the sales organization, he has played an instrumental role in CDW's outbound sales efforts, sales force expansion and training programs. Schuldt earned a bachelor's degree in finance from University of Illinois and is a member of the Sales Executive Council Corporate Executive Board. Schuldt reports to Harry J. Harczak, Jr., executive vice president - sales.
