ADP Teams With CDW and Compaq to Provide Clients with Affordable, Pre-Configured PC Solutions

Agreement Helps Provide Efficient Implementation And Value-added Client Service

ROSELAND, NJ, September 14, 1998 — Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP®), the world's leading provider of integrated human resources, benefits and payroll services, today announced a strategic agreement with CDW Computer Centers, Inc., one of the country's largest and fastest growing direct marketers of brand name computer products, and Compaq Computer Corporation, the world's largest computer manufacturer, to offer clients affordable, state-of-the-art hardware solutions, preconfigured with ADP PC/Payroll for Windows™ an easy to use payroll and human resource management software system - providing clients with unparalled service.

To make the implementation process as efficient as possible, CDW will deliver ADP PC/Payroll for Windows pre-loaded on Compaq PC systems directly to ADP clients. CDW has established a toll free service number - 800-380-4239 - dedicated to handle requests and technical inquiries from ADP clients. Callers will receive personal service from a dedicated CDW account manager.

As an added-value to ADP clients, financing is available through ADP Credit Corporation. Clients receive pre-approved credit and monthly payments are debited directly into their account.
