CDW Recognized with the 2011 Microsoft East Region Large Account Reseller of the Year Award

VERNON HILLS, Ill. – October 17, 2011 – Microsoft recently presented its 2011 East Region Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) of the Year award to CDW LLC (CDW), a leading provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare, during a ceremony at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles.

"The Field Partner Awards Program gives Microsoft the opportunity to recognize its top regional partners at a global event. It acknowledges the extraordinary contributions of Microsoft partners serving small, mid-market and enterprise commercial customers throughout the past fiscal year," said Jack Braman, vice president East Region, Small and Mid-market Solutions and Partners (SMS&P) for Microsoft.

CDW was honored among the top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. In addition to the East Region Large Account Reseller of the Year award, Microsoft recognized CDW as its 2011 Volume Licensing Partner of the Year and 2011 Public Sector Partner of the Year for Education.

Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners and finalists chosen from a set of more than 200 organizations across the East. CDW was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services, as well as demonstrating excellent engagement in the East Region. The award recognizes the LAR that demonstrates the greatest impact on the East Region SMS&P business in terms of revenue growth, customer satisfaction and engagement with Microsoft.
